Hello and welcome to my webpage!
I am proud to serve as Breckenridge Middle School's (BMS) English Language Arts teacher where we can explore the joys of reading, the beauty in language, and precision of writing. I believe in the importance of learning to use language because it is at the core of everything we do. You can expect to learn in many different ways how to appreciate and use language effectively in my class and in everyday life.
This will be my second year at BMS. I grew up in Fargo and earned my ELA teaching and psychology degrees from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Seeking adventure after graduation, I flew to South Korea for one year and taught English as a second language to students in elementary school. I decided enough was enough and had to move back home.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, dabbling in the arts, and spending time with my family. I am married to my husband, James, and we have two pets together: Kingston and Elmer.
