Welcome to the Alternative Learning Program (ALP) at Breckenridge High School! The ALP is an online platform that allows students to take courses they have failed for Credit Recovery (CRx) in order to "catch up" and graduate on time with their graduating class. Ms. Donohue is the ALP Coordinator, meaning she is the person who will enroll students in CRx courses once informed by the office. She will then create a Continual Learning Plan (CLP) for each student who is accepted into the program to help insure that they are successful. She also mails a progress report home to parents or guardians on a regular basis (typically weekly), so that they know how their student is progressing with their online courses. If you believe that your child may qualify for this program, please complete the attached ALP Application, and send it to the office, or contact the School Counselor Mrs. Quast, Principal Peterson, or Ms. Donohue for additional information. We look forward to helping your child SUCCEED! |
