Mr. Lindberg
2018-19

Course Description:
The information , assignments, and activities provided in health will help to give you a better understanding of the many issues we are faced with in our daily lives. As your health teacher, I am here to help you make healthy choices, by presenting the facts...it’s your decision as to what choice you make. Hopefully it will be the HEALTHY one!

Health Education Expectations:
I believe all my students can behave appropriately in my classroom. I will not tolerate any student(s) stopping me from teaching and/or any student from learning. In order to have a healthy learning environment, the following rules will be enforced:
*Be in your seat when the bell rings.
*Bring all needed materials.
*Always do your best.
*Stay on task and do not interfere with other student’s right to learn and the teacher’s right to teach.
*Show RESPECT at all times and it will reciprocate!

Items Needed for Health Class:
1. Notebook
2. Folder
3. Pencil/Pen
4. Assignment Book

Health Education Grading:
Your health grade is based on the percentage of the total points you have earned during the quarter. Points are earned for written work, quizzes, tests, in class activities and classroom participation.

NOTE:
*All assignments will be due the following health day unless otherwise stated.
*Anything turned in late will be graded at 50% of what it is worth.
*Failure to hand in completed work will result in a zero for that assignment.
*Once a unit is complete and a test has been taken, work will no longer be accepted.
