Lindsay Eggiman - Reading Specialist
I am thrilled to work at Breckenridge Elementary as the school's reading specialist. The 2021-2022 school year will be my ninth year as a reading specialist, but my sixteenth year teaching overall with past experiences in preschool, kindergarten, second grade, third grade, fifth grade, and sixth grade.
I received my elementary education degree from Concordia College, Moorhead in 2005 with a specialty in fifth through eighth grade social studies. In 2009, I earned my master's degree in classroom instruction with a K-12 reading endorsement and reading specialist certificate from Concordia University, Saint Paul.
My husband, Tony, and I are originally from Moorhead, MN but currently live in Breckenridge with our daughter Ahna, our three sons Charlie, Will, and Henry and our golden retriever, "Cain."
My role as the Reading Specialist is dedicated to providing individualized instruction to students that demonstrate a need for interventions in the area of reading. I review assessment data to identify specific areas of ability, deficiency, and/or strength for each student and make instructional decisions as part of an individualized intervention plan. I have a strong commitment to helping all students succeed and look forward to working with the students at Breckenridge Elementary.
