Second Grade~A Wonderful Place to Be!
Welcome to the world of Second Grade!
I am looking forward to my another year in 2nd grade! --- A little about me... I began my teaching career in the little town of Abercrombie, ND in 1988. While in Abercrombie (or Richland 44) I taught kindergarten for 1 year, then 5th grade for my 2nd year followed by 1st grade for the next nine years! It was in my last year in Abercrombie that Joe (my husband) and I became parents to Madeline Jean Randall- She will be a freshman at MN State this fall! That was a year of changes- my last year in Aber, becoming a parent and changing jobs! That is the year I began my career in Breckenridge as Kindergarten teacher. I was in that position until the spring of 2016 when I was asked to move to 2nd grade!!
As they say "Change is good" and I am more than "Good" with the grade change! It was super exciting to teach a new grade, walk down a new hall, get to know some of my colleagues in a new "working" way. With this being my 3rd year in 2nd grade I am going to attempt another "change." I am going to try teaching my class with a flexible seating arrangement. (Stay tune with more to come-) I'm looking forward to making more great memories teaching in 2nd grade and I am so glad to continue to be part of Breckenridge Elementary!!
Along with Madeline we also have a son Michael. He will be a Senior at BHS this year! He keeps us busy with his many sporting activities- looking forward to a fun-filled year for Michael. Madeline will be attending NDSCS this fall.
