CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION - 30 hours
2018-2019 School year:
Session 1: August 13-24 M-F 5:00-8:00 p.m. ES room 248 (enter through door #1)
Session 2: September 11-February 21 Tu/Th 10:05-10:55 HS room 507
Session 3: February 25-March 13 M-F 3:35-6:00 p.m. ES room 351
Students may ride the bus from the HS to the ES for the Session 3 class.
Priority for Session 1 will be given to students who are/will be 15 years old before November 1, 2018.
All classes have attendance and assignment requirements. The student may need to repeat and repay for the class if the requirements are not met.
At the end of the classroom training students are required to have a certified birth certificate and social security card to take the permit test. This pertains to tests taken at any testing site.
BEHIND-THE-WHEEL TRAINING - 6 hours
In order to be scheduled for behind the wheel training, students must have completed 30 hours of classroom instruction, passed the knowledge test, and have a valid driving permit. We are currently scheduling for summer behind the wheel lessons. Please watch for a letter from the school district and return it to the high school by May 3rd.
COST - $325.00 for classroom and behind the wheel instruction
Registration will not be accepted unless accompanied by payment. Session size is limited. Registrations will be accepted at the high school office starting Monday, August 6th between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and during regular office hours throughout the school year. Payments may also be made on-line.
