During the 2020-2021 school year, Breckenridge High School will offer three sessions of classroom Driver Education:

Session 1   TBD    M-F     9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. @ ES Room 351

Session 2    TBD   M-F     12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. @ ES Room 351

Session 3    TBD  M-F     3:35 p.m.-6:00 p.m. @ ES Room 351

Session size is limited.  Students may ride the bus from the HS to the ES for the Session 3 class.

Assignment requirements will be set by the instructor and must be met before a certificate of class completion and blue card will be issued.  A student may be removed from the session if behavior expectations are not met.

Registration forms and online payment receipts, checks, or cash payments will be accepted at the district office during regular office hours during the summer.

The nonrefundable tuition fee of $325 includes:

30 classroom clock hours (state mandated), blue card upon completion

6 hours behind the wheel (state mandated), white card upon completion

Attendance at the first class session is mandatory.  If a student is absent for the first class session for any reason, s/he will be removed from the session and will need to register for a later session.  If a student is absent, for any reason, for more than the equivalent of two class periods (calculated in minutes) s/he will be removed from the session and will need to register for a later session.  Registering for a later session will not incur an additional fee.


At the end of the classroom training students are required to have a blue card (issued by the school district), certified birth certificate, and social security card to take the permit test. This pertains to tests taken at any testing site.
