During the 2019-2020 school year, Breckenridge High School will offer three sessions of classroom Driver Education:
Session 1 July 29 – August 9, 2019 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. @ ES Room 351
Session 2 July 29 – August 9, 2019 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. @ ES Room 351
Session 2 is full.
Session size is limited. Students may ride the bus from the HS to the ES for the Session 3 class.
The nonrefundable tuition fee of $325 includes:
30 classroom clock hours (state mandated), blue card upon completion
6 hours behind the wheel (state mandated), white card upon completion
Attendance at the first class session is mandatory. If a student is absent for the first class session for any reason, s/he will be removed from the session and will need to register for a later session. Registering for a later session will not incur an additional fee.
If a student is absent, for any reason, for more than the equivalent of two class periods (calculated in minutes) s/he will be removed from the session and will need to register for a later session. Registering for a later session will not incur an additional fee.
At the end of the classroom training students are required to have a certified birth certificate and social security card to take the permit test. This pertains to tests taken at any testing site.
