Mrs. Ohm's and Mrs. Bommersbach's second grade classes entered the PBS Go Writers! writing contest. Ella Anderson is one of the Red Ribbon Winners from our area! The title of her story is The Best Friends. The story had to be between 100-350 words and it had to have 5 illustrations. We are very proud of her!!!
On May 15th several Breckenridge School employees and family members participated in a community service project. The school staff has adopted a two mile stretch of highway 75 just south of Wolverton. Participants were Sue LeNoue, Jolynn Werner, Dianne Anderson, Renee Fedderson, Steph Beyer, Lauren Beyer, Beau Beyer and those not pictured, including Marissa Olmanson and Dan Fedderson. This is one of the great things our school is doing to give back to our communities.

| Welcome to the Breckenridge School District website.
We are proud to be called the “Home of the “Cowboys and Cowgirls”. Our school pride and spirit has a long standing tradition, which runs deep in our community.
We invite you to explore our website to learn more about the educational opportunities and services provided by the Breckenridge School District. Visit the website often as it continually changes with new information from the individual teacher areas with class updates and assignments to the activity schedule to upcoming events.
Our K-12 enrollment is 690 students. We employ 120 staff members and have an annual budget of 8.3 million dollars.
Academics, arts and extra-curricular opportunities are what our school district is known for. We take great measures to provide a meaningful experience for all students to succeed. Academically, over 90 percent of our graduating classes go on to a post-secondary education. We also offer college classes and vocational explorations in which our students excel. Our students in Breckenridge are inspired by each other, challenged by rigor, and propelled by our faculty and staff to be the absolute best they can be.
Go Cowboys and Cowgirls!
