Excellence in Education students for Quarter 2 

The BHS Knowledge Bowl team traveled to Fergus Falls on Monday January 9th and returned home with first place. The Breckenridge Bold team consisting of Kurt Manning, Lucas Simmer, Johnny Maack, Tommy Stach and Jaylen Lemna also received top written round honors scoring 44 out of 60 questions. BHS scored 103 points followed by DGF with 87.5 and Minnewaska with 87 points. The other BHS teams finished in 9th, 11th, 15th and 16th in the twenty-one team event.

The Breckenridge Knowledge Bowl teams competed Wednesday December 21 in the KB Invitational Meet at Concordia College. Team Bell earned runner-up honors and team Bold placed third out of 30 teams in the AA division.

The BHS Mathletes participated in their annual Adopt-a-Highway program last week. They adopted a 2.5 mile stretch of ditch on Highway 75 and 9 south of Breckenridge in 2006. The students are proud to be able to give back to the community with a service project that benefits us all. They annual outing takes the students about three hours to complete. Pictured are: Merrick Meyer, Mason Meyer, Lucas Simmer.

BHS had 47 students from Drama Club and Choir attend the Fergus Falls M-State's musical production of "How to Talk Minnesotan" on Thursday 11/3. Students attended breakout sessions to learn about the arts

To participate in an athletic activity in the Breckenridge school district, the following forms need to be turned into the athletic office BEFORE you are eligible to participate in practice OR an event.

Current physical- Physicals are good for 3 years.

Return the last 2 pages filled out and signed by parent/guardian and student.

User Fee
Grades 9-12 $75.00 per student per activity
Grades 7-8, $50.00 per student per activity
Individual Limit: $200.00. Family Limit: $350.00.
Payment can be made at the Web Store or make checks payable to Breckenridge Public Schools, please note student's name, grade and sport. No one will be denied participation because of user fees. Cases of hardship in fee payment will be handled on an individual basis
