Wednesday, May 27 Breckenridge 8th graders gathered for a celebration of their first 8 years of school and entrance into High School.  As part of that celebration, the First Annual Run With Randy award was given out to an 8th Grade Student that demonstrated true character and positive attitude.  Mr. Berndt was the Middle School Math teacher who demonstrated everyday, high integrity, hard work and passion for Math.  His legacy was a caring, loving husband, father, son, teacher and friend to many.  He will truly be missed at school, in the community and at home.  This award was given to Nolan Lemna who was chosen by his teachers and the school administration to receive this honor.  Nolan is an excellent example of key attributes that Mr. Berndt instilled in his classroom, his family and himself.  Congratulations to Nolan and his family in this wonderful accomplishment.

Staff members were recognized with years of service awards and retirement plaques on the last day of school.
